Zapier: Expanded contact functionality available now

Through our Zapier SMS integration, you can start taking advantage of SMS by enabling it on the application of your choice. Popular integration options include: MailChimp, Google Calendar, PayPal, WooCommerce, Salesforce, and Slack.

Integration Updates

In addition to adding new contacts to Burst SMS from other applications, you can now update existing contacts. For example, if John Doe was already subscribed to your list, but he started a new job and has a new email address – his information can now be updated in Burst SMS when he subscribes with his new contact information. Through the addition of this new feature, the “Delete Contact Action” button is no longer needed, since you can now update contact details. Keep your leads updated without deleting important information.

This integration also expands functionality of the “Send to List Action” feature, allowing you to send Custom IDs from other tools to Burst SMS. This update also allows your message delivery status to be returned through the new Trigger and Delivery Report Received. This new trigger is important if you are using a CRM, and want to know if your contacts have the most up-to-date phone numbers. Make note of correct or incorrect numbers in Salesforce, HubSpot, or any application that you prefer.
